A safer car trip for you and your passengers

PAI covers persons travelling in a Hertz vehicle, including getting in and out, even if any of them meets an accident which lets permanent consequences or results in death. In case of injury medical care must be looked up immediately. The event must be reported to Hertz as soon as circumstances allow. Benefit amounts for cases both of death and permanent consequences are agreed as follows: each passanger is covered up to 10000 USD, maximum 4 passangers + driver are covered. Expenses due to emergency hospitalization (medical care given in a duly licensed hospital) abroad that occurred as a direct result of a sudden and unexpected accident that is covered by PAI and that occurred while travelling in a Hertz car rented in the Estonia will be reimbursed in full amount, except that protected persons have long term resident/working permit or are citizens of the country where insurance case occurred. This benefit will be paid only in excess of any other collectible personal or group insurance. Insurance coverage may be rejected when the accident occurred due to violent negligence of the rental agreement terms or violating the road law of the respective country where insurance case happened. Intentional self-injuries, mental illnesses or sudden deteriorations of particularly specified health conditions are also excluded from the insurance protection. PAI fee is always mentioned in your rental agreement.
