Update the Vehicle Preferences page of your Hertz Gold Profile and we’ll send you a PDF copy of your eReceipt as soon as your rental agreement is closed.  On return, just fill in the Express Return slip on your Rental Agreement, leave it with the keys and get on your way 
 
Express Return Services

Return the car to the indicated return area. Complete the Express Return slip which is included in the printed Rental Agreement stating the return date and time, return mileage, indicate gas was purchased and the final fuel level. 

US Airports during manned Instant Return operating hours

1. Complete Express Return slip
2. Leave car keys with completed slip on dashboard
3. We will close rental agreement and email your eReceipt; typically within 30 minutes

US Airports outside manned Instant Return operating hours

1. Complete Express Return slip
2. Drop car keys with completed slip in Express Return box
3. We will close rental agreement and email your eReceipt  

Hertz Local Edition or off-airport Hertz locations

1. Complete Express Return slip
2. Drop car keys with completed slip in Express Return box or hand to Hertz representative*
3. We will close rental agreement and email your eReceipt

*Where available; otherwise you must return the vehicle during normal business hours

Please note that if you are returning to a location that is closed, all charges will continue to accrue until the location reopens for business.
 
If you need to report any damage to the vehicle, please ensure that you report this to a Hertz representative before you leave and complete an Accident Report Form.
